With a love for windsurfing, I traveled to Cape Town in January 2025 for a windsurfing holiday. The beautiful weather, the strong winds, the powerful waves, white beaches, and the clear blue water gave me the freedom to let my thoughts drift away.

There, timeless, open minded and surrounded by a beautiful landscape, I began to reflect on what I truly wanted to do. A number of ideas came up, but I kept asking myself whether they were really possible.

One day in Paternoster, the waves were small and the wind unpredictable. The perfect session I had envisioned felt far away, but it was precisely there that a new idea was born. All around Cape Town, I noticed surf shops each with their own brand and their own story. And I thought: If they can create a brand, why not me?
